50 Gay And Lesbian Books Everybody Must Read
is a new anthology from Alyson Books, edited by
Richard Canning. It's a fantastic, unique collection, not focused on
canonical works, but on overlooked and unusual texts. Each essay is
written by a writer, editor, or publisher, describing their reaction
to a text that made a difference for them.
I've got a piece in the collection, focused on teaching
GLBT Studies to undergraduates, and specifically
on Rebecca Brown's novel The Terrible Girls.
